Inspired by Paul Connerton's "How Societies Remember”, this intervention explores how while monuments are built with the purpose of being remembered, they are also being forgotten at the same time. 18 passers-by were invited to do a temporary site-specific art intervention in front of a Mao Zedong Memorial . The second part of this work ( under the same name ) was set up at this Other Music Academy in Weimar, to allow people become a " one minute monument ".
